賴棟材認為藝術是誠實反映生命與洗滌人心的靈魂呈現。四十年來以書法為根基，延伸至水墨、西畫與陶塑，打破傳統並結合生活感悟，持續追求創新與震撼。透過展覽分享藝術讓他體悟生命價值，心懷感恩並堅定叩問自我。 Tung-Tsai, Lai believes that art is an expression of the soul that honestly reflects life and purifies the human spirit. For the past forty years, he has built his artistic practice on the foundation of 8-calligraphy, extending it into ink painting, Western painting, and ceramic sculpture. By breaking with tradition and integrating insights drawn from everyday life, he has continued to pursue innovation and powerful artistic impact. Sharing his art through exhibitions has deepened his understanding of the value of life, inspiring him to remain grateful while steadfastly engaging in self-reflection and self-inquiry.
